Mossy Manse. We open on a close up of one of Connor's specially carved stakes. Stefan is in the library... parlor... great room (have I ever named that room?) when Damon brings in a box of stuff he lifted from Connor's camper. Damon's still under the impression that Connor is dead because if you'll recall, Klaus zooped the hunter out of the hospital just as the bomb exploded. Damon exposits about the fact that Connor seems to be a supernatural hunter for a few reasons, including the fact that only Jeremy "I See Dead People" Gilbert can see his tattoo, as well as Klaus's muttering something about Connor being one of The Five. Damon's rifling through his stuff to find out more about our mystery man.

Liz calls and tells Damon something, but he won't share with Stefan because, "We're in a fight." Stefan is all, "You're in a fight," and claims that personally, he's over it. Okay, he'll always be mad that Damon let Elena feed off him, but he's not in a fight. Damon relents and tells Stefan they found no remains at the explosion site. He needs Stefan to look into this because he's taking Elena to visit a college today. Now Stefan's reconsidering whether or not they are in a fight. Damon explains that Elena needs how to learn the "Snatch, eat, erase." approach to vampirism, then eye-things at Stefan and says, "Ah. We're not in a fight. Remember?"

Woods. Day. Elena exposits to Stefan about how she almost lost control while feeding on my Pudding Pop, Matt Donavan. Let's not revisit that, Elena. I want to keep liking you. Stefan must have read my last recap because he brings up my suggestion that Elena ask Caroline to show her the vampirism ropes, but Elena says Caroline is too good for it, and doesn't understand how hard it is. Yeah, that excuse is a little pat for me too, Stefan. I wouldn't buy it either. Somewhere in there, she complains that she can only drink from the vein. This is just a thought, but perhaps they could warm up some bagged human blood and see if she keeps that down. I mean, if you have to bottle feed a newborn, you warm the formula to about body-temperature. Maybe the bagged blood is just too cold. As always, these two won't listen to me.
