In Elena's room, Richard is still drooling over the breasts featured on the website. He tells her that she doesn't need implants. He says, "Look at you. These things [grabs her breasts] are perfect." She pushes him away and boots him in the head. He falls from the bed to the floor.
Avery and Ben are sitting together on the sofa, still swilling beer back at the loft. Kristin Lehman totally reveals her Toronto upbringing when her accent slips and she says that her "mum and dad" have a place in Southampton on the water. None of that American "maawm" pronunciation for her. Anyway, she invites him to Southampton. He says that it sounds great, but that he can't go. She asks, "Are you saying that because you don't want to, or because you have a girlfriend?" Ben loudly exhales and says nothing. Avery bleats, "I'm going to let you think about that while I go to the bathroom." As soon as she's out of the room, Felicity knocks on the door. Ben looks panicked -- especially when Avery walks back into the room. Felicity wonders "what's going on." Ben states that nothing is going on; he was just helping Avery with her victim statement. Avery announces that she's going to leave, gathering her stuff and striding through the door. Ben implores Felicity to believe that there was "nothing going on." Felicity laughs, "Omigod, I came here to apologize to you." Ben asserts he was only helping Avery with her statement. Felicity is skeptical, and points out that they were sitting alone in the dark. He reminds her that there's a blackout. She demands to know what is going on and accuses them of having a "thing." He denies it. It escalates into a screaming match about cheating and how Ben has to do it because he's been on academic probation for a year. If he fails one more test, he'll be expelled. She's miffed that he hadn't told her before now. Then she notices that he's wearing the watch that Avery gave him and he says that Avery asked him to try it on. He doesn't want Felicity to make a big deal of it. She sobs, "Y'know what, keep the watch, help Avery. I don't care anymore." She leaves.
In the cruel light of day, Meghan wakes up (her copious eye makeup still intact) to find that Chris, who is sleeping on the floor beside Meghan's bed, is already awake. Meghan asks whether she's been snoring. Chris has been awake for an hour, thinking about how she's going to call off the wedding with her fiancé.
Knoll is still at the girls' apartment, and he's drinking coffee and surfing the web on his computer. Felicity shuffles out and asks how the sofa was. Ever-gracious Knoll says, "Lumpy, but thanks," and informs her that the electricity is back. She says she already knew because all the clocks were flashing. Knoll claims to have been up all night thinking about leaving New York for Seattle. Felicity tells him about the "huge fight" she had with Ben the night before. He asks what happened, and she responds, "Avery happened." He mumbles, "Mm hmm." Felicity discusses her fears about "competing" with Avery. Knoll declares that "there's no way Ben could like Avery." She refreshes Knoll's memory that he slept with Avery himself. He laughs that he did it because he's "such a slut." Felicity whines, "Now you're moving to Seattle and everything sucks." Several times, Knoll recants his statement about moving, on the grounds that it rains too much in Seattle and that Bill Gates lives there and he can't live in the same town as Bill Gates. Why is that? Because you'd have competition for being the biggest, nerdiest jackass in town? This is part where Wing Chun wades in to refute my calling Bill Gates a nerdy jackass. Okay, let me have it. ["Eh. What's the point?" -- Wing Chun] Now, back to the show. Felicity wanly smiles at Knoll, and then blinks back tears and whispers, "I'm sad." Knoll says, "You're sad. I know." Oh, for the love of Pete, you're both sad. However, Knoll is the saddest.
