Episode Report Card Erin: A | 1 USERS: B YOU GRADE IT Did we really need another Mr. Sloane?

Santiago. A hand hangs up a phone, and we see that the hand belongs to a rather worried man. He removes his other hand from his mouth and reluctantly gets up and walks to another room. Once inside, he says, "Mr. Sloane? I'm sorry to report, Mr. Sloane, we didn't recover the manuscript and Roberts hasn't reported in." The camera pans over, and the man in the chair is not Ron Rifkin. The man in the chair is the Emcee from Cabaret. The man in the chair is Joel Grey and he's doing his finest Arvin Sloane impersonation. "I see," he trills. "Nothing changes. Everything proceeds as planned." D'oh! Damn. He really could be Sloane's doppelganger. Why do I think this isn't a good thing?
Next on Alias: Syd spills the beans about Sloane's assassination plot, even though I'm now thinking it was the Other Mr. Sloane's assassination plot. Also? In the previews? There's a really creepy shot of Sloane, like, butchering someone. And Spy Daddy puts a gun to Arvin's head and, oddly, I'm more scared of Arvin than I am of Jack in that moment. Good Lord.
