Back out on the streets amid the pandemonium, Conrad and Daniel talk with a firefighter about the blast. He says there was a man pinned under rubble that they're working to free. Conrad's response is surprise that the man survived, not surprise that there was a man there in the first place. Dan looks at his father like he knows his old man was/is up to something, but he loses that train of thought (as he's prone to do) when he spots Aiden among the crowd. He goes to confront him. All Aiden's concerned about is Emanda, but Daniel's pissed that she's (or at least he thinks that she's) on her way to the hospital, probably because of Aiden. Daniel punches Aiden in the face then turns to a nearby police officer to tell him that this man is probably responsible for the bombing. Aiden disappears before Dan can finish his sentence. Cut to a few feet away where Victoria and Charlotte are meeting up with Conrad. The ladies are obviously spooked and Charlotte just wants to go home. It must be nice to have a chopper on standby. Conrad's just about to send his wife and daughter to the helicopter when they spot Declan being wheeled out on a stretcher, unconscious and his face bloodied. Charlotte shrieks his name and chases after the stretcher and paramedics. Victoria shoots Conrad a knowing glance and follows.

At Nolcorp, Nolan hacks through phone records to verify for Jack that the text messages did, in fact, come from Ashley's phone. What exactly was the point of doing that? Of course they came from her phone if that's the contact number that showed up on Jack's end. The question is whether someone commandeered her phone to send the texts and then erased them, which is exactly what happened. But speak of the devil, Ashley calls Jack. She informs him that Declan is in the hospital, but she doesn't have any other details about his condition. Jack's ready to head for the hospital, but Nolan thinks it could be a trap. They don't know if Ashley can be trusted yet and Jack can't be spotted there by Conrad. From off frame, Emanda says he won't be spotted. She'll see to it. Jack reacts in anger that Nolan has included Ems in all of this because she's practically a Grayson. Nolan: "I trust Emily with my life. So did Amanda. It's time you did, too."

Jack sits in the passenger seat of a parked car outside of the emergency room. Ems hops in the diver seat and plops a backpack in his lap. It's filled with a nurse's uniform and a keycard. She says that she learned a few tricks when she was in juvie. Dec's in ICU, and she can only distract Victoria and Charlotte, who are in the waiting room, for a few minutes, but that should be enough time. She's ready to spring this plan into action, but Jack stops Ems from getting out of the car to tell her that even though he doesn't understand why she's helping him now, he'd like it if she would still be Carl's godmother.
