Once Mother is gone, Leroy approaches Astrid who explains the pickle they're in. The only way they have to raise money is to sell their candles but they'll need to sell a thousand to make up for the lost money. And last year they only sold about 42. Sheesh, how much does helium go for, anyhow? Leroy suggests she ask the landlord for a grace period. Sister Astrid explains that's unlikely as Mr. Gold is the landlord -- so hopefully we'll see him this week. Anyhow, Leroy promises Astrid that they'll sell all the candles this year. When Astrid gushes, Leroy blushes and our poor jaded Mary Margaret rolls her eyes.
Back at the town line, David doesn't understand what's going on. Emma says she's just trying to figure things out. When he says he last spoke to Kathryn yesterday afternoon, Emma says she knows there have been lies and needs to know if that's really the truth. David assures her it is. They haven't spoken since he ended things. When he got home, Kathryn's clothes were gone and he figured she went to Boston. Emma makes a point of mentioning she knows he's telling the truth. I am pinning my hopes on your superpower, Emma. Do not let me down.
When the phone records come out of Regina's Fax machine (or printer), Regina calls Sidney and tells him she has them. "I think you'll find them quite helpful." So, did she tamper with them, forge them, get someone else to tamper with or forge them or is she just damned lucky? Commercial.
Enchanted Forest: A year later, Dreamy is hard at work in the mines when he meets Nova, who is there to collect the yearly supply of fairy dust. He recognizes her as the beautiful woman he saw just before he was hatched and is immediately smitten. Still clumsy, at first, Nova can't shut off the fairy dust spigot. So it's Dreamy to the rescue. Next, Nova accidentally lays the bag full of fairy dust on a conveyor belt. It's headed toward the grinder and some sort of furnace. Dreamy saves the bag and the day. When he returns it to Nova she laments that she'll never be a fairy godmother. Dreamy says he thinks she'll be a great one. "I believe you can do anything you want -- as long as you dream it." Awww. I know. I'm not snarky this week. I can't even bring myself to harsh on the fairies costumes, even though the people in the forum who compared the tutus and streamers to jelly fish, really aren't wrong. I feel like I'm four years old -- at least when I'm with these two. And, were I four years old? I would rock that pink, fru-fru Nova costume. It's so fluffy and sparkly and flowery and IT IS LOVE ITSELF, I TELL YOU!
