I truly enjoyed this episode. I know that's probably less than evident from this recap, but that's because I can no longer enjoy it. But that first time I watched it, I felt like my show was back. I'm still not crazy about the cure and sire bond, but that's the story they're telling and I feel like this week, they told it well.
The Vampire Diaries returns Thursday, January 17, 2013, so I'll see you next year. I hope you had a good Hanukkah.
