It's November 2006. Ems is about to undertake her first mission for Takeda stateside, which involves infiltrating a Russian crimelord's gross prostitution operation at a nightclub. This is where Emanda meets Aiden, who's there undercover as a bartender. They share a common target, but Aiden's there for the purpose of avenging his sister. He nearly blows the whole mission for Ems when he tries to assassinate her mark, an attempt she thwarts, which leads to Aiden being captured by the Russian cartel. Feeling responsible for his imminent death, Ems diverts from her Takeda mission to save Aiden, and gets captured herself. Takeda manages to free them both and send the crimelord fleeing, but Aiden manages to chase him down and ultimately kills him. A bond is immediately formed between Aiden and Ems because nobody had ever put their life on the line for Aiden the way Ems did. Ugh... I hate sappy love stories.

Ems is already out and operating at full capacity, which means she's already been recently funded by Nolan. It's good times at Nolcorp. They're celebrating Thanksgiving by going public and Nolan is a long ways into a secret relationship with his CFO, Marco. Ever want to date Nolan? Become his CFO, apparently. Everything seems to be going great until Marco uncovers the $500 million that has mysteriously disappeared from Nolan's ledgers because it went to Ems. The secrecy about such a large sum of money to his own CFO/boyfriend nearly costs Nolan his relationship, but coming entirely clean doesn't help either considering the truth involves David Clarke. Nolan fires Marco because he is at odds with Nolan's idealism of David being innocent and Emanda deserving some help. They break up on bad terms.

At Grayson Manor, Daniel comes home from college with news that he hopes to become a poet. To Conrad's credit, he pretends to encourage his son's dream instead of throwing him out of the house on his beatnik ass. But that's just for show. Conrad naturally will bribe whoever necessary to see that all of Daniel's submissions get polite rejections. Damn... With family like this, who needs highly trained blondes with vendettas? Daniel also brings his grandmother home with him -- that would be Victoria's mother, who she hasn't spoken to in over 30 years. The reason for that, we find out through flashbacks within this giant flashback, is that Mother Harper blamed the young, beautiful Victoria for coming between her and her wealthy suitors. At Thanksgiving dinner with her latest suitor, Mrs. Harper gets utterly destroyed by Victoria when the Queen reveals that her mother forced her to kill a man and take the rap for it, knowing that young Victoria would never get indicted. Then, when Mrs. Harper's soon-to-be husband molested Victoria at age 15, she threw her out on the street. Mrs. Harper's boyfriend is disgusted by these revelations and leaves her. It turns out the entire relationship was orchestrated by the Graysons to destroy Mrs. Harper for what she had done to Victoria long ago. Sounds about right.

Hey, six years ago there was still boring shit happening on the docks! Carl Porter, still being alive and all, racked up some debt with the wrong folks back then. He tries to shield Jack and Declan from all of these happenings by sending them off to their grandmother's for Thanksgiving, but Jack senses something's up and sticks around. He witnesses his father holding vigil in the bar with a loaded gun, and then a Molotov cocktail being thrown through the bar's window. Always the pacifist, Jack promises on behalf of his father to pay back the debt, but when Carl tries to pay it back things go all wrong. The debt collector was Kenny Ryan's father, and one of Carl's buddies on the docks who had also grown tired of being bullied shoots and kills Mr. Ryan. Carl covers up the murder, leaving Jack unaware of the vendetta that will come his way in six years.

In the present day, Ems and Aiden wake up in bed together, Aiden not believing that he's finally with Ems after the way things started out between them. She begins to let Aiden into her world a little bit, showing him her infinity box. Not meant to be a euphemism, I promise. Meanwhile, Daniel contacts Marco, who is all ears about a business proposition involving Nolcorp. But while Dan's wheeling and dealing, Conrad and Victoria are deciding they need to block Dan from taking over the company if they hope to protect him from the wrath of the Initiative. All in all, there is nothing to be thankful for about this episode.

The sun goes down on the Manhattan skyline. It's November 2006. Emanda struts into a nightclub in a little black dress and goes straight up to the bar. There's very little of any sort of surprise that Aiden is behind the counter. He greets Ems in Russian in his little server's vest and bowtie. None of this fits Aiden at all, and Emanda tells him as much. Ems takes a vodka shot and deflects Aiden asking for her name by asking where she can find a man named Sergei Lvovsky. Aiden's demeanor instantly hardens. He reverses Ems' earlier accusation that his cover didn't fit him by suggesting her profession doesn't fit her, and tells her she can find Mr. Lvovsky in the back with all the other girls. The disdain in Aiden's voice suggests he's disappointed Ems has turned out to be a hooker.

Grayson Manor. Daniel's home with the long-sleeve polo shirt and messy hair of a college frat boy. Conrad lectures him about not waiting too long to pledge for clubs at Harvard. Like every trust fund baby, Daniel lashes out that he wants to make a name for himself... you know, while having a Harvard education paid for by his mommy and daddy. (They've also sent grade school-aged Charlotte off to the Alps for this flashback episode.) Victoria thinks Conrad's right about Daniel needing to use the advantages his name affords him, but right now all she cares about is having a nice Thanksgiving, just the three of them. Cue a knock at the door. Victoria turns to make a comment to Conrad as Daniel goes to attend to the door, and when she turns back around, her mother, Marion, (Adrienne Barbeau) is standing before her in the parlor. The Queen goes white as a ghost. Daniel explains that he invited Grandma Harper to Thanksgiving after she contacted him a month prior. They had gone out to dinner with her current boyfriend, and now Grandma was hoping she could mend fences with her daughter. Victoria's frigid to the idea, but Conrad insists that they can afford her mother one Thanksgiving. Giving what can only be interpreted as the universal sign of agreement, Victoria says she's well aware that this woman is her mother and walks out of the room.

FLASHBACK: A teenage (and decidedly ethnic) Victoria sits at a vanity, applying make-up. A young and beautiful Marion walks in and scolds her daughter for getting pretty for Thanksgiving, accusing her of doing it for a man named Thomas. Young Victoria absorbs the hurt of this accusation like any young girl would, and doesn't respond to her mother. Instead she asks if Marion thinks Thomas will propose. Angrily, Marion fires back that she hopes so because they're almost out of money. /FLASHBACK. Victoria stares at herself blankly in a hallway mirror to signify that was a traumatic thing we just flashed back to.

Back at the nightclub, Sergei sizes up a lineup of scantily clad women, quickly turning each one down until he reaches... Ashley. She's wearing heavy make-up and trembling. The trembling will turn on Sergei's boss Dmitri, he says. Is it wrong to assume that any man named Dmitri would be turned on by trembling? Sergei orders Ash to go clean off all that make-up and come back to him. Ems spies all of this and then follows Ashley to the restroom. As she enters, Emanda can already hear Ashley crying from the only stall in the ornate club restroom. Through the stall door, Ems offers her friendship, warning Ash of Dmitri's M.O. of trafficking young girls. Ash says she can't do anything with her MFA in Art History and that she needs the money to pay rent. Emanda's like, "Pfff..." She pulls out a wad of bills wrapped in a note that has her phone number and hands it over the stall. She's helping Ash because Ashley's going to help her, Emanda explains. She wants Ashley to text her as soon as she knows when Dmitri will arrive, then to duck out. When Ash opens the stall door to see her savior face-to-face, Ems is already gone. Like Batman.

The Stowaway. Carl Porter's running things because he hasn't had that heart attack yet. His buddy Matt is following him around, prattling on about paying some protection money to some hoods that have been hounding the businesses on the docks. There's a rumor going around that Mr. Ryan is going to send a bad message to all the holdouts on Thanksgiving. Carl happens to be a holdout. Matt insists that he and Carl need to be thinking about protecting their kids. Cue Jack walking into the bar. Just in case we forgot this is a flashback, he declares he's ready to christen his boat the "Amanda" and stoops down to say hello to Sammy, who's also still alive. Jack's plenty happy to be home and listening to Matt talk about his little girl growing up, but that changes quickly when Carl orders him to take Dec to their grandmother's for Thanksgiving even though the plan was originally to do it at the bar. Jack's confused about the sudden change of plans, and Carl roughly asks if his son has a problem with it. Welcome to 2006, Jack!

Nightclub. Aiden confronts Emanda about her bar tab, brushing off her suggestion that he can just add it to Sergei's since he saw that she never once spoke to him. Emanda promises Aiden a big tip the time she sees him, which Aiden presumes will never happen, but just then Ems gets a text from Ashley saying Dmitri will be at the club tomorrow afternoon. Ems says she'll see Aiden then. He watches closely as she leaves.

In an abandoned warehouse, Emanda picks up a framed photo of her as a little girl with her father off of a small desk in what appears to be a makeshift hideout. Takeda's voice calls to her from off frame, telling her David would be proud of her. This mission will provide a good distraction from a time of year Ems hates, presumably the anniversary of her father's death or because it's the holiday season she would've spent mostly with her father. Takeda asks if she's afraid of what faces her. Emanda sets down the framed photo: "No. I'm ready."

Thanksgiving Day, 2006. Nolan cheerfully breezes into the colorful conference room of a nascent Nolcorp. There's about a dozen champagne bottles in the center of the conference table in the room that's filled to the brim with 2006 hipsters. Nolan announces that he's thankful they all agreed to come into work on the holiday, and instead of actually working today, he wants to play a game. He grabs a large sketchpad and marker, draws a large "1" and "0", and asks who in the room can solve the equation. Nobody can, so Nolan calls out a Mr. Romero to try his hand at it. Marco Romero (E.J. Bonilla from "Guiding Light") is a young, attractive accountant type. He slips on his glasses and quickly draws a "P" between the "1" and "0". Assuming the "1" is really an "I," Nolan announces that spells "IPO." Nolcorp is going public. The room buzzes with excitement. Nolan implores everyone to thank Marco, whom he couldn't have done it without. He then orders everyone to grab a bottle of champagne and go home to their loved ones. It's totally the anti-thesis of The Social Network.

Daniel timidly seeks out his father in his office at Grayson Manor. He breaks the ice by noting his mother's pulling out the fine china for her mother's return. Conrad quips that Victoria's always been one for second chances before asking about a folder in Daniel's hand. Dan explains that he may not be majoring in business after all. And not political science or pre-law either. He wants to do poetry. Conrad's face looks something like this: -_- Seriously, the resemblance is uncanny. Then he snaps out of his shock to tell his son that he'd be honored to read over the poems if it means supporting his dreams. Total bullshit, but Daniel's still young and naive.

Warehouse hideout. Takeda approaches Ems to ask about her plans for the Graysons. Emanda has already severed ties with Nolcorp, closed all her bank accounts and set up several fronts that are doing business with the divested money. Her surveillance has already uncovered Conrad's infidelity with Lydia Davis. Ems isn't subtle about her frustration with Takeda that she was ready to spring into action against the Graysons before this mission diverted her. Takeda registers it, handing over a photo of a young girl named Colleen who was abducted from Seoul by Dmitri's operation. The plan is for Emanda to infiltrate the club again, isolate Dmitri and gain Takeda access to him. After that, Ems is free to continue her quest against the Graysons.

Grayson Manor. Marion plants a framed photo of herself and Victoria when they were younger onto a table among other photos that have business being there. Victoria walks up and sarcastically commends her mother on that being a nice touch, accusing this whole reunion of being a charade to ensnare her latest suitor, Ben Greevy. Marion insists that Ben loves her and that he simply wanted to meet the family. The doorbell rings. And just like always, I don't have my pants on when the doorbell rings. Marion warns her daughter that she better not disappoint her as she goes to greet her boyfriend.

FLASHBACK: Marion and Victoria sit at a dinner table with Mrs. Harper's suitor, Thomas, who is not shown (except for his left hand, which bears a wedding ring) and is being a creeper toward the teenage Victoria. He compliments her on her beauty, saying she must look how her mother did at that age. What -- 20, 25? Obliviously, Victoria corrects him, "15." Exasperated, Marion orders her daughter to pour coffee for Thomas and herself so they can take it into the living room. /FLASHBACK.

Marion brings Mr. Greevy over to Victoria for introductions. Naturally, it's awkward that Ben compliments Victoria on her appearance. Victoria decides to rub it in and gives Ben an extra long handshake and smile.

It's afternoon at the Russian nightclub. Taking a page from Amily's stylebook, Ems walks in wearing a sparkly, tight dress. Aiden heads her off with a warning that she shouldn't be there today; it's too dangerous. Emanda insists she can take care of herself. She walks up to Sergei and feeds him a lie about her roommate being too sick to show up today, and offers up a pithy apology. Sergei's not happy, but that could change if Ems agrees to meet with Dmitri in her roommate's place. It pays $3,000. Sergei asks how old she is. Emanda: "For $3,000, how old do you want me to be?" That would probably be my answer, too. Dmitri will be there any minute, so Sergei calls out Aiden to get some vodka ready and warns Ems not to be drunk when Dmitri takes her to the back room. Aiden pulls out a bottle of vodka from a bottom cabinet, as well as a gun, which he slips into his waistband at the small of his back.

Meanwhile, Ems radios to Takeda to let him know that there are about five armed Russian militia in the club. He tells her he will appear when she has lured Dmitri to the back room. Aiden passes by Emanda to give her one last warning before taking the vodka to Dmitri. She's not budging. Aiden walks up to Dmitri and his entourage, tells him, "This is from Colleen," then pulls out his pistol. Ems recognizes the name Colleen and tackles Aiden before he can let off a round. From the floor, Emanda watches as Dmitri's thugs apprehend Aiden and begin beating him while Takeda barks in her earwig for her to abort the mission. Ems: "I can't!"

Emanda gets led into the safe room by Dmitri. He's smugly impressed that she saved his life, but stops at saying as much, being satisfied with chauvinistic condescension. Before he can get fresh with her, there's a knock at the big, secure door behind him. Tonight, he'll have to attend to business before pleasure, he says. Ew. Dmitri inputs a code on the door's keypad, which Emanda memorizes, then disappears. Ems immediately radios Takeda to tell him the situation, including Aiden's attempted assassination, and give him the access code. You should always keep in mind that during these conversations Takeda is just aimlessly strolling around a dock in broad daylight, looking completely ridiculous because it appears that he's just very seriously barking orders at himself. He tells Ems to carry on with her mission as planned, but she insists she has to help Aiden because he helped her. She'll be back in contact with Takeda when she finds him, she says as she eyes a nearby air vent.

Marco strolls into Nolan's office after hours in all his geeky glory, full three-piece suit and all. Nolan says he thought Marco would be spending the holidays with someone special, to which Marco awkwardly replies that he plans to. They simultaneously get a little mushy as Nolan steps aside to reveal a platter of very expensive-looking sushi. Nolan: "Admittedly, a little untraditional, but so are we." It's a very cheesy line, but it's unbelievably sweet coming from Nolan. Marco pulls a gift from behind his back, saying Nolan always looks out for everyone else and he wants to look out for him. It's a toy robot called "Zoltan, Galaxy Defender" that inspired Nolan to begin programming. It's something Nolan mentioned on their first date. Their moment is interrupted by Marco's phone, a call he has to take because it's their new accounting firm. Marco lays a kiss on Nolan before leaving to take the call. Nolan is completely content in this moment. That's what sucks about flashbacks. You know something bad's coming.

Conrad, Victoria, Marion and Ben sit in the living room together in front of the fireplace at Grayson Manor. Conrad inquires about Marion and Ben meeting. They met on a cruise Marion planned to take with her dearly departed husband. They happened to have suites to each other. Victoria remarks that almost sounds planned, so Marion throws her a death stare. When Ben and Conrad leave the room to refresh everyone's drinks, Marion starts in on Victoria that she's wrong for thinking she has ulterior motives with Ben. Victoria asks her mother if doing what she had to do to be with her last husband was worth it. Marion wouldn't change a thing. In fact, she feels Victoria owes her for her current status of being the matriarch of one of the wealthiest families in the country. The suggestion that Victoria so easily landed on her feet back then upsets her as Marion leaves the room. Conrad returns and notices his wife is shaken. As this is before all of the animosity between the Graysons, Conrad sweetly offers to send Marion and Ben home if she doesn't want to go through with their dinner. Victoria gathers herself and insists they go on with it.

At the Stowaway, Carl sits alone at the bar with a loaded gun and a bottle of whiskey. Jack walks in, catching his dad off guard, and notices immediately the odd vigil his father his holding. Just as Carl is explaining that he's protecting his family, a Molotov cocktail comes flying through the window, setting the bar floor on fire. Jack rushes to get the fire extinguisher. Once the fire's out, Jack demands to know what the hell's going on. His father remains tightlipped.

In a storage room at the nightclub, the Russian militia has a bloodied Aiden tied to a wooden pillar. Sergei asks who sent him, but Aiden just spits blood at him. That always results in a punch, Aiden. Did your spy training not include watching any spy movies? Sergei says they'll give Aiden five minutes to talk or they'll transfer him somewhere else that sounds a lot like death. Ems watches all of this from inside an air duct and then watches the guards all leave Aiden alone. That... doesn't seem right. They always at least leave one bad guy on watch, right? What the hell kind of Russian militia is this?

Emanda kicks in the air vent cover and slinks into the room in her sparkly, skintight dress. She looks pretty ridiculous. As she frees Aiden, she interrogates him, reaching for any sort of connection between his crusade to avenge his sister and the downing of the jetliner. They settle on the fact that Aiden's father was a baggage handler at the airport that night. Ems assume they must've used his father the way they used hers. Just as they're making their exit, Sergie, Dmitri and all their goons burst in the room. Sergei trains a gun on Emanda while the goons restrain Aiden.

In the aftermath of the dastardly attack on the Stowaway, Jack and dad work to board up some windows. Against Jack's nagging, Carl is refusing to call the police. From the back of the bar comes sauntering in Mr. Ryan. He plays dumb about what happened tonight, but it's pretty obvious by the way he's puffing his chest that he's responsible for the fire bomb. The Porters, for their part, don't accuse Mr. Ryan outright of any wrongdoing. His proclamation that he has two sons of his own confirms that he is indeed Kenny and Trent's father. When Mr. Ryan mentions Declan in terms of Carl needing to consider his safety, it sets Mr. Porter off. Jack has to restrain him and then interjects that the Porters will be paying up, despite his father's objection. Mr. Ryan's appeased. He'll be back in an hour to collect his money. He thinks they should celebrate over some good liquor, like blue label scotch, or "rich man's candy." A man after my own heart, in that regard, at least.

It's dinnertime at Grayson Manor. Small talk about Daniel's writing aspirations confirms that Conrad and Victoria are willing to humor his dream to the point of Conrad even suggesting he'll send off some of his son's writings to some publishers he knows. The loving gesture turns the conversation to family and whether Ben has any children, which he doesn't. Marion has a bit of a slip when she admits she wasn't ready to have kids when Victoria came along, but she counts her as a blessing all the same. "Well, that's not what you said the day you threw me out of the house," Victoria calmly drops her calculated bomb. Marion can't believe what she's hearing. She immediately gets up from the table and suggests she and Ben leave, but he wants to hear what Victoria has to say. Marion sits back down.

FLASHBACK: Teenage Victoria listens from the kitchen to a heated argument between Marion and her suitor, Thomas. He's saying he never promised to take care of her and her kid, and she's begging him not to leave. She follows him as he tries to storm out of the house, then there's a gunshot. Full of all sorts of crazy, Marion calls to Victoria to come help her and simultaneously accuses her of ruining everything by batting her eyelashes "like a whore." She hands Victoria the gun she's just used to kill Thomas and wiped for fingerprints, explaining that no jury would ever indict a little girl like her, and if Victoria doesn't do what she says, they will take Marion away. Weeping, Victoria takes the gun and pumps a round into Thomas' chest. /FLASHBACK.

Victoria continues her story. Marion was right that a grand jury wouldn't indict Victoria, but she ended up in six months of inpatient psychiatric therapy. By the time she was let out, Marion had already met her future husband, Maxwell. One night, Maxwell was caught sneaking into Victoria's bedroom, so Marion kicked her daughter out of the house. Marion tries to convince Ben that everything Victoria has just said is a lie, but Victoria continue throwing on the guilt trip until Marion loses her cool. She accuses Victoria of always driving a wedge between her and the men she loved, and that she should've listened to Victoria's father and gotten an abortion. Ben has heard enough. He leaves, but not before telling Marion he needs to get as far away from her as possible.

The nightclub is now bustling with dancers on a crowded dance floor and strobe lights. Dmitri and Sergei try to lead out their prisoners inconspicuously, but they're intercepted by Takeda. He swiftly snaps a goon's neck, giving Ems and Aiden the cue to start kicking ass themselves. They quickly dispatch of everyone except Dmitri, who takes off running out of the back of the club. Aiden grabs a gun and gives chase. Out in a back alley, he fires a round into Dmitri's knee, sending him to the ground. He's about to finish the job when Ems comes running out after Aiden to tell him to stop. If he kills Dmitri, he'll never know what happened to his sister. After some tense facial tics, Aiden relents, but that just prompts Dmitri to arrogantly approach Emanda. He suggests that Aiden's sister is probably dead, but before that, she grew to like being a prostitute. That's enough to send Aiden over the edge. He pumps three shots into Dmitri just as Takeda comes running up. He orders Emanda to get Aiden out of there. We're to assume Takeda will clean up the crime scene like he always does.

Commercial

At the Thanksgiving workday that will never end at Nolcorp, Nolan intercepts Marco as he's trying to hurry out of the office. Nolan comes clean about the missing money belonging to David Clarke's daughter. Marco's mind is blown that, 1) Their first investor was a terrorist, and 2) Nolan believes he was innocent. If Marco can't understand the nobility of taking care of the progeny of the man who took Nolan at his word rather than just his name, then there's no future for this relationship. Marco sees it as Nolan choosing a convicted terrorist over him, so Nolan fires him on the spot. He begins to cut a check for Marco's share of the company, but Marco wants nothing to do with Nolan and his "blood money." All in all, it's about as amicable a break-up anyone could've hoped for, considering a terrorist was involved.

Marion comes downstairs on her way out of Grayson Manor, and simply asks her daughter, "Why?" This was her last chance and all she had left. It serves her right for choosing a pedophile over her own daughter, Victoria says. That being said, Marion has nowhere to go, and Victoria is taking no pity on this woman. Even though Grayson Manor has plenty of empty rooms, none of them are for her mother. Marion: "You vindictive bitch." Victoria: "Oh, I learned from the best." The Queen opens the front door, and bids her farewell, "Goodbye, mother. I have no doubt that you'll land on your feet." Marion trembles as she watches the she-devil she birthed walk away, leaving her in ruin.

In the room, Conrad tosses sheets of Daniel's poetry into the fireplace one-by-one. Victoria jokes that it can't be that bad. Conrad thinks it is, and chooses to read this poem of Daniel's: "We speak in hushed voices so as not to wake our memories / The things we've done, the things we'll continue to do for fear of breaking the cycle / How fierce we were when we were young / when we were unafraid of coming unhinged." The plan is for Conrad to pay off some publishers to provide polite rejection letters to Daniel's future writing submissions. That's cold, dad.

Speaking of cold, Conrad just finished wiring some money to Ben Greevy. His entire relationship with Marion was orchestrated, including their supposedly serendipitous meeting on the cruise. All of this was a huge charade just so Victoria could enact revenge on the woman who had cast a dark shadow over her since she was 15. Conrad asks if the darkness has been lifted. Victoria: "Ask me tomorrow."

Carl takes a sip from his flask, waiting out on the dock behind the bar in the darkness. When Mr. Ryan appears from around the corner, Carl tosses him a manila envelope with the cash. Ryan takes this opportunity to suggest Carl talk to his buddies on the docks who are still holding out. Just then, gunshots go off from the shadows. It's Matt with Carl's gun. Mr. Ryan falls off the dock and into the harbor. Carl can't believe what his friend just did. Matt explains that his daughter was the victim of a hit-and-run accident tonight, with Mr. Ryan almost certainly responsible. They're in this together now. Thinking quick, Carl figures the gunshots probably alerted some people, and, in fact, Jack was one of them. Carl hops up on "the Amanda" and starts up the engine so he can claim that the gunshots Jack heard were really backfires of the engine. The secret is safe between Carl and Matt for now.

Warehouse hideout. Aiden notices Emanda's photo of her father and asks about him. It brings a smile to Ems' face to remember him as she explains what a caring and strong person he was. Aiden likens him to his sister, then declares his intention to study under Takeda so he can either find Colleen or bring the people who destroyed her to justice.

Flash forward to the present. Aiden and Emanda are nested together in bed at Casa Emily. Aiden says he wouldn't have believed six years ago that he'd be there with her today. He wonders if it was Takeda's plan all along for them to end up together. All Ems can say is that Aiden better not disappear on her again. He promises he won't.

Declan comes into the Stowaway after tying up Jack's boat so the slip can be used to bring in booze. There's a small exchange here with Kenny to drive home the fact that the murdered Mr. Ryan all those years ago was his dad. Kenny grabs a bottle of blue label scotch and pours himself a shot. He says his father used to call it "rich man's candy." Pff... we already figured it out, douche.

In his shirtsleeves at home, Daniel places a phone call late at night. On the other end, Marco's awakened at an ungodly hour. Dan apologizes for the late call, but he needs to talk about a business proposition involving Nolcorp. Marco: "I'm listening."

Out on the balcony perch at Grayson Manor, Conrad brings Victoria a glass of wine. They discuss protecting their son now that he'll be a target of the Initiative. That will involve blocking as ascension to CEO of Grayson Global. Conrad never thought he'd see the day that he wouldn't want his to son to have the job. Maybe their son should've been a poet, after all, he adds.

Aiden finds Emanda siting alone downstairs clutching the infinity X infinity box. Since Aiden promised he won't be going anywhere any time soon, Emanda decides to share the box and all its evidence with him. Aiden notices the double infinity symbol on the box lid and on Emanda's wrist, asking what that's all about. Emanda: "A journey with no end."
