As the prisoners perform their ablutions and generally get gussied up, Earl VO explains that conjugal day is a special day. "Good Lovin'" plays as Earl says that the prisoners meet up with their wives and/or girlfriends, and sometimes meet up with total strangers that they met through an online penpal service. The conjugal visit room tries to look homey -- the cinder block walls are painted blue, there are paintings hung on the walls, and there is real furniture, although it's covered in plastic. There's a sign on the back of the door that changes in each scene; it's a poster of the Warden and right now it says, "Now a Camera Free Zone." Wiry prisoner from earlier meets up with a letter writer who is...kind of large. He looks a photo in his hand and says that she looks different. She retorts, "You killed your father." He mulls this over and decides, "Fair enough!" The sign in the background now says, "Gentlemen Use the Courtesy Tap."
Earl's buddy Frank got thrown in the hot box and has to miss conjugal day. Frank begs Earl to go see his girlfriend, Billie, and explain why he has to miss the visit. Frank explains that Billie is his angel, and passes Earl a photo. Earl realizes it's a naked photo, and he tries to avert his eyes, but he can't help noticing that Billie has angel wings tattooed on her "most private angel area." Frank explains that he paid for them, and it was awkward because her brother did the inking. Earl: "Oh, that explains the 'Love, Your Brother.' I thought she was just trying to make the world a better place.
Meanwhile, Joy struggles to play pool now that she's eight months pregnant. Catalina strolls over and makes a catty remark about Joy's swollen feet. Joy retorts, "Yeah, well I'm retaining so much water, I'm afraid you're going to try to swim across me to get your green card!" Joy continues to try to play pool, but then realizes that she just pooped. In her pants. She makes Darnell walk behind her as she shuffles to the bathroom. Darnell takes off to get some towels, and Catalina bounces on over to the ladies' room. As Joy screams, "Occupado!," Catalina snaps a picture with her cell phone, chuckling all the way. I knew Joy and Catalina didn't like each other, but I never knew Catalina was so...bitchy.
Back in hallway outside the conjugal room, the camera scans past two bowls of condoms. The one labeled "Ribbed For Her Pleasure" is full to the brim. The one labeled "Ultra-Thin For His Pleasure" is nearly empty. Heh. Randy and Earl walk down the hallways, and Randy reads the instructions for a conjugal visit from an index card. Earl explains just there to talk to Billie for Frank.
