The episode opens with a series of interviews. Tracey says she thinks she got closer to figuring out who The Mole is, and that she's looking at Mark Curry. Mark says that he hasn't narrowed down his choice, because he is The Mole. Dennis mumbles that they care that Corbin is gone, but not really. Keshia says she's glad she didn't enter a coalition with Corbin, since he's gone, and if she had listened to him, she might be gone as well. Angie begins, "Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned." Then she looks at the camera and giggles. Stephen looks morose and says he doesn't know what to do.
We're still in Yucatan. The MUVs are driving the players to a beach. Ahmad greets them in another giant sombrero. He reminds everyone that there's only $16,000 in the pot. Ouch. The game is called "Clucks For Bucks." Ahmad instructs them to split into three teams of two, and after a little difficulty, they settle in the following pairs: Dennis and Keshia (Team One), Stephen and Angie (Team Two), and Mark and Tracey (Team Three). Ahmad directs their attention to a nearby chicken pen. There are twenty-four chickens inside, and forty-eight sombreros. Some sombreros have nothing inside, and others have numbers. The players have to pick up sombreros (one at a time) until they find a number. Then they have to find the chicken with the corresponding number on a leg tag, and place that chicken into a smaller pen. They will get $2,000 for each chicken caught, and there are five "super chickens" randomly mixed in; each is worth $5,000.
Dennis and Keshia prepare to go first. Dennis asks if she's ever touched a chicken. Keshia says that they had chickens growing up, and promises Dennis she'll be fine. Dennis picks a sombrero and finds a number, and Keshia quickly finds the corresponding chicken and tosses it into the pen. Dennis picks up the sombrero and finds the number 6 inside. You know that it's a 6 and not a 9, because it's underlined. He has already picked up the sombrero and called out the number, and Keshia picks up another sombrero anyway, which is illegal. Because she's The Mole. They find chicken #6 and Dennis slam-dunks it into the pen. Angie interviews that Dennis was scaring the chickens, because they probably thought he was a giant from all the earth-shaking that was going on. Stephen interviews that Dennis was acting like he did on the basketball court, faking left and right and then finger-rolling a chicken into the pen. Keshia picks up a sombrero and says that it's number 6, and then decides that the earlier number must have been a 9. Dennis wants nothing of the 6/9 controversy, so he just picks up another hat and starts looking for that chicken. What I don't get is why they put the hats back down after looking at the number. How do they know which ones they've already looked at? I would toss the hat outside the ring or something. Stephen and Angie yell at Keshia and Dennis to find chicken #9 before moving on, or the rest won't count. Keshia decides that it must have been 6 in the first place, so they're fine. Keshia picks up another hat and finds a 9; she protests that there's no chicken with that number. Dennis interviews that it was typical mumbo fricassee tuna melt. Dennis finds chicken #9, and dashes to get it into the pen before time runs out. For some reason, Keshia also has a chicken and is trying to get Dennis to put it into the pen. She tosses her chicken in after his, and time quickly runs out.
“ They chase one chicken, and Mark totally runs after it, which just causes the chicken to run away. I can't decide if he's an idiot or The Mole. Oh my God, now I'm quoting Corbin. ”
Ahmad compliments Keshia on her "chicken picking," and then reminds everyone that they can't turn over hats simultaneously. When Dennis and Keshia both put in chickens at the same time, it was illegal and those chickens won't count. I knew that was fishy. Ahmad announces that Keshia and Dennis have added $17,000 to the pot. Wow, more than doubled.
It's time for Stephen and Angie to have a turn. There are only seventeen chickens left, and there are still forty-eight sombreros. So it gets more difficult as you go along. Stephen finds the numbers, and Angie catches the chickens. Stephen voice-overs that Angie was moving in a chicken-like manner, and that she must have been relating to the chickens. We don't get to see as much of their turn, and Ahmad announces that they have added $31,000 to the pot. Everyone cheers.
Tracey and Mark have only six chickens left that haven't been caught. Mark goofs off the whole time, which would really annoy me. At one point, he pretends to fuck the chicken. Tracey and Mark turn over sombreros at the same time, and Ahmad reminds them that that's illegal. They chase one chicken, and Mark totally runs after it, which just causes the chicken to run away. I can't decide if he's an idiot or The Mole. Oh my God, now I'm quoting Corbin. Tracey and Mark have turned over all the hats and can't find any more numbers, so they let time run out. They end up with a total of $9,000. They got $2,000 taken away because they picked up hats at the same time.
Ahmad says that they put a total of $57,000 in the pot in that game. Wow! Does anyone else think the producers came up with a fairly easy game just so that there would be some money in the pot? Ahmad asks the team to pick their best chicken wrangler, and everyone picks Keshia. That's weird to me, because Stephen and Angie made a lot more money, and by going first, Keshia and Dennis had the best odds. Maybe everyone felt that Dennis was holding Keshia back. Ahmad says that Keshia is going to have five minutes to grab one rooster. If she does it, she'll add another $10,000 to the pot. Mark voice-overs that the rooster is actually taller than Keshia by about an inch. Ahmad starts the time. Keshia interviews that roosters are usually pretty mean, and that she was worried it might peck her eyes out. Stephen interviews that, at first, Keshia tried to be "chicken whisperer" and it didn't work, so she "got all ghetto about it and ran it down." Keshia corners the rooster and grabs it with about fifteen seconds left, adding $10,000 to the pot. The pot now stands at $83,000. I know that little incident goes against my "Keshia as Mole" theory, but I think she's trying to throw suspicion off her, so she can't just blatantly screw up every game.
The MUVs travel to the location "for a little recreation," as Ahmad puts it. Inside one MUV, Tracey, Stephen, and Angie discuss their suspicions. Stephen writes down what everyone had for lunch, and then tells Tracey that they'll talk later. Angie asks if they have a coalition, and Stephen says, "Maybe." Stephen interviews that he thinks that, by sharing information with Tracey, they can figure more out. Tracey interviews that she wishes Stephen were more confident about his Mole pick, since he says he doesn't know. Tracey wonders if that means Stephen is The Mole.
The players go horseback riding and take boat rides. Stephen interviews that there's no way to dissect this thing. Tracey interviews that Mark has lost money for the team, which makes her suspect. Stephen interviews that Angie has single-handedly cost them $45,000. Angie interviews that Dennis doesn't try in any game, and sabotages everything. Stephen interviews that Keshia is way too laid back. Mark tells the camera that no one knows that he's The Mole, and that he's sabotaging everything. Would The Mole say that? And would they show it? Stephen interviews that the execution is going to be huge and shocking.
That night, the players gather at the Ruins of Tulum. Angie tells the camera that it's 3:00 AM. Ahmad announces that this game is called "Wrestler Mariachi Maze," and that they need to split into three teams of two again. This time it ends up Dennis and Angie, Mark and Keshia, and Stephen and Tracey. Ahmad says that one of them needs to be the navigator and one needs to be the runner. The navigator will direct the runner through the maze using an overhead camera shot and a walkie-talkie. Each runner who makes it out of the maze will earn $20,000 for the pot. The runners have to complete the maze while avoiding the two Mexican wrestlers. Ahmad says that the runners have to grab a wrestling belt at the entrance of the maze, and exit without being tagged by a wrestler. Also, there is a mariachi band in the center of the maze that will only play when they see a wrestler, as a hint to the players regarding the wrestler's locations.
Dennis will be the first runner, and Angie will be his navigator. Angie tries to tell Dennis that the exit is a straight line away from the entrance (one of them is, but there are three), and Stephen says she made it sound like he's supposed to go back to the beginning to get out. Angie tries to figure out how to give directions. Stephen interviews that Angie had no sense of direction. Stephen tries to tell Angie how to give directions. Stephen says he knows his game plan already.
“ Stephen interviews that either Angie sucks at all of the games, or she's The Mole. Angie yells that it wasn't fair. That's her answer for everything, isn't it? What is she, twelve? ”
Dennis enters the maze, and as soon as he walks in, Angie starts giving him directions, so he doesn't grab a belt. Angie gets him to the middle of the maze, but then he has to backtrack to avoid a wrestler. Keshia and Stephen yell out instructions, too, which would drive me insane. Keshia points out that Dennis never picked up a belt, so Angie tells Dennis to go back to the entrance and grab a belt. Dennis strolls back to the entrance and picks up a belt. Angie keeps giving him instructions, and the mariachi band starts playing. Dennis interviews that he thought when he heard the music, he should go that way. What? Did he even hear the instructions at all? Dennis spots a wrestler and tries to outrun him, but Dennis turns into a dead end and falls to the ground. The wrestler tags Dennis, and he's done. Denis laughs at himself. Stephen interviews that either Angie sucks at all of the games, or she's The Mole. Angie yells that it wasn't fair. That's her answer for everything, isn't it? What is she, twelve? Dennis complains that no one told him to get a belt. Ahmad and Mark refrain from pointing out that Ahmad did say that. Dennis interviews that it was a set-up on someone's part. Angie is frustrated with Dennis's lackluster performance.
Stephen and Tracey are up . Stephen advises Tracey to do exactly what he says, quickly. Tracey agrees, and then enters the maze. She grabs a belt right away. Stephen gives every instruction, like, ten times, which is confusing. Tracey makes it very close to the end, but runs into a dead end near the exit and gets tagged. Tracey interviews that she could be in a coalition with The Mole, and that she found Stephen's double-talk confusing. I think he was trying to help her evade the wrestlers, which she didn't know, since she couldn't see them.
Mark will be running , with Keshia navigating. Ahmad points out that no one has made it through yet. Mark enters the maze and grabs a belt. At one point, Keshia leads Mark right into both wrestlers, but he manages to outrun them. Then she takes him back by both wrestlers again, even though there were alternate routes. Mark somehow makes it through the maze anyway and adds $20,000 to the pot. Angie interviews that Stephen acted weird. Stephen sits alone and doesn't talk, which is very weird for him. Stephen interviews that Dennis should have been frustrated or angry about Angie's shitty directions, but that he didn't seem to care. He was angry, afterward, when he was bitching to Ahmad and Mark. But Stephen didn't see that. Angie interviews that Stephen is off her suspect list, because he's playing too hard.
Ahmad congratulates Mark and Keshia for putting $20,000 into the pot. Ahmad says that the three runners still have their belts, and inside one belt is an exemption that only the runner can win. Mark gets to open his for free, but Dennis and Tracey have to pay $5000 each to look inside. Dennis doesn't seem to understand the instructions (as usual), since he says that he doesn't care, and then agrees that he wants to look, and then figures out that it would mean taking money out of the pot. Tracey apologetically says that she wants to look, too. The three runners open their belts, and Tracey gets the exemption. She does a little dance. Ahmad announces that the net tally for this game was $10,000.
Later, Mark gets a special offer in the makeup room. Dirty! Ahmad walks in and tells Mark that he chose the belt with the green thumbprint on it in the maze game. Well, actually, he took the belt that was left, since the other two were already taken. Anyway, it means that Mark will get a chance to earn $10,000 for the pot and an exemption for himself. Like Keshia's earlier challenge, this has to remain a secret. Ahmad says that to win the game, Mark has to eat everyone's leftovers, so the more they eat, the less Mark will have to eat.
At dinner, Tracey says there's no amount of money that would make her give up the exemption right now. Each person's dinner appears to consist of two or three large tacos, beans, rice, and an ear of corn. Good God! That's a lot of food. Mark keeps talking about how good the food is, trying to get people to eat more. Mark interviews that he thought he could do it. Keshia eats her corn one kernel at a time. Tracey skips the tortillas and just eats the insides of her burrito. I have to say that this game was a little insensitive, given Tracey's history with eating disorders. What if she had picked that belt? Dennis doesn't even touch his food, and Stephen barely eats anything. Mark starts offering to eat people's leftovers. He totally chews with his mouth open, which is so unappetizing. Stephen realizes that Mark is acting weird and eating everyone else's food. Keshia asks how much money Mark is getting for eating all the food. Ahmad realizes that everyone is finished eating, so revealing the game won't affect how much Mark has to eat. Ahmad says that the game is called "Leftovers," and explains Mark's challenge, adding that Mark only has fifteen minutes from this moment. Mark still thinks he can do it.
The clock starts, and Mark starts eating. Keshia is screaming with laughter. Mark grabs everyone else's food and piles it on his plate. Dude. There is no way. Keshia interviews that she was laughing because she knew Mark would be throwing up later. Mark continues to stuff it down. Dennis interviews, "Framble fraggle floogle." Stephen makes a barfing noise, and Angie asks why he's trying to sabotage Mark. Stephen says that Angie is worse, because she's encouraging Mark to eat himself sick. Angie points out that Mark can barf afterwards, and Stephen says, "Spoken like a true supermodel." Mark has six minutes. Ahmad encourages him to continue. There are only two minutes left. Everyone tells Mark to stand up to "let the food go down." I don't think that's quite how it works, but what do I know? Ahmad says that there is one minute left. Mark has one burrito to eat. Mark tries to take a bite, and almost gags it right back up. Mark interviews that his body was "ready to have a liquidation sale." With thirty seconds left, Ahmad tells Mark to shove the whole thing in his mouth. Mark tries to, and then gags and spits it all out. Time runs out. Everyone is laughing. Mark interviews that if there were one less burrito on everyone's plate, he could've done it. I don't think this proves that Mark is The Mole, because if he were, he could've failed at the task without making himself sick.
“ When Ahmad types in Stephen's name, the screen goes red. Dennis immediately gets up and walks off again. Could someone nail him to his chair? ”
And now it's time for the quiz. Mark says that Dennis and Keshia would both be good Moles. Stephen says it was suspicious when Dennis and Keshia screwed up the numbers in the chicken game. Keshia says that Dennis wasn't hustling in the chicken game, and that Mark was just being silly. Dennis says that someone forgot to tell him to get a belt. Keep telling yourself that, Dennis. Stephen still thinks it was weird that Dennis didn't get mad. Stephen says it was funny how many people didn't eat chicken for lunch after chasing chickens all day. Stephen realizes that maybe he should have looked at that, since Dennis and Angie were the only two heartless enough to eat chicken anyway. And that completes Stephen's transformation into Corbin.
The players assemble to find out which of them has been executed. Ahmad reminds them that the pot is at $93,000, and that Tracey has an exemption. Ahmad takes a seat and types in Angie's name. The screen turns green. Ahmad types in Mark's name . That would suck if he got executed after making himself sick. The screen turns green. Ahmad says that he's going to type Dennis's name in . Dennis asks if everyone else is nervous. The screen turns green. Dennis stands up and walks away, then yells, "Steve, your ass is out of here." It's down to Stephen and Keshia, since Tracey has an exemption. When Ahmad types in Stephen's name, the screen goes red. Dennis immediately gets up and walks off again. Could someone nail him to his chair? Everyone hugs Stephen goodbye. Stephen says he sucks at this game. Angie says they'll miss Stephen's bad jokes, but that it's all part of the game. Dennis thinks Stephen was trying too hard to get into everyone's head. Ahmad walks Stephen to the car. Tracey says that now she's out on her own. Stephen tells the camera that Tracey promised him she wasn't The Mole, so now he wants her to win. Unless she's The Mole. Keshia says that Stephen did provide a lot of humor. Stephen gets into his taxi and meekly says, "Goodbye cruel Mole world!"
week: we get to find out where that footage of Ananda pegging Tracey with a ball came from as the executed players return. Also, the players have to eat worms.
