The Runner - Skip and Grant defend an innocent African-American man on trial for murder. The LAPD is racist and lazy. The boys get a receptionist, Dee. What a firecracker this one is.

Pilot - David "Skip" Ross is a nineteen-year-old prodigy who is just out of law school and is having no luck getting hired by a firm. Grant Cooper is a washed-up attorney who lets Skip work for him. Unfortunately for Grant, Skip's passion for the law and self-righteous work ethic mean that the old guy might have to do some work.
