Claire's all, wait a second -- you didn't know you were going to heal when you dove off the building? Peter's all, uh, nope! He finds this humorous and starts to laugh and dissolves into another coughing fit. Either Peter's not completely healed inside because he's not a natural healer, or he's suffering from what we like to call Sylar Syndrome: the result of excessive overexposure to multiple superpowers; patient will appear pale, sweaty and weak; oh, and also batshit crazy. "That's kinda stupid, huh?" Peter says to his Rogue. Claire smiles back at him and says, "No, it's not." She's already got a little hero worship going on with him. Bennet knocks again, some more, because nobody gets to love his little girl except him! She gets up to leave and turns at the door. "You're totally my hero," she says, throwing Peter some serious bedroom eyes. I'm not making this up, you guys. She looks at him like she wants to throw him down on that bunk and find out what this "orgasm" thing is that everyone's talking about.
Back with the most dysfunctional family on the planet, Micah's still calling out for his mom, and she's running toward him. It's totally Jessica, though, because she seriously runs like a linebacker. It's kind of awesome that Ali Larter has picked up a distinctly different physicality for each of her personalities. Niki's slower, gentler, smoother and Jessica's like a Spanish bull on acid with a grudge toward anything that gets in its way. Jessica hugs Micah and he tells her that DL is hurt and that he's inside the cabin. He leads her inside and she grabs the gun from her waistband. She busts inside the house and DL hits her in the gut with a shovel. Ha! That's for throwing me up against the wall, bitch! Next, I will hit you in the head in retaliation for the bullet in the shoulder! Ah ha!
Jessica tumbles out and the gun goes flying. DL stumbles toward it and picks it up before she can get to it. She high-kicks it out of his hand and knocks him about twenty feet away. Micah tries to intercede, begging them to stop fighting, and Jessica just goes, "It's for your own good!" To prove this, she actually flings him away so hard that he falls into some rocks and appears to be injured. DL immediately gets up and goes to his son and Niki's mother instinct takes over and shoves Jessica out of the way. She tentatively walks over to her family and DL tries to keep her away, but she tells Micah that it's her and he asks if it's her and she says it is and he immediately hugs her. "I am so sorry," she says to her son. She turns to her husband. "I am so sorry." DL reaches out to her and they all embrace.
