Outside, Syd saunters toward Peyton's car. She gets in, and Peyton says they were expecting to hear from her sooner. Syd says she ran into a few complications, but nothing she couldn't handle. "And Sydney?" says Peyton. "She's dead," says Sydney. She hands over the chip, saying it's what they found inside Élodie. "Well," says Peyton, "if you were able to pull this off, then the rest should be easy." "Yeah," says Sydney.
And the Ominous Strings of Ominosity take us out.
