Warehouse. Bonnie appears to Jeremy. She is concerned about this whole spell, and reminds him that she died while bringing him back from the dead, so she's not going to count on this cockamamie plan playing out. Jeremy tells her to have some faith. "If you believe that it can work, and I believe it can work, then it will work." Okay, why is he talking like they're Snow White and Prince Charming? This kid grew up in Mystic Falls. Everyone he's ever loved is dead (and undead if you count his sister cousin). He should have less faith than -- I don't even know what -- a sneaker. He makes Bonnie say it will work, then thanks her. Bonnie tells him she'd die a hundred times over, just to have him standing there alive. He caresses her cheek and tells her that before the day is over, they'll both know what that feels like. When he walks off in search of the anchor, Bonnie looks like she knows this cockamamie plan will fail. I wonder if she still gets prophetic visions, on the other side.
Damon asks Silas why the Travelers are even interested in the anchor. Silas explains they hate him for creating the immortality spell, and they know the anchor is all that's standing between him and his soulmate. Damon winces at that, while Silas adds, "And every love story needs that one thing that keeps getting in the way -- kinda like you, Damon." Damon says while Silas might be all powerful, Damon will happily kill him if he keeps that up. Silas says Damon won't do it before he brings back Bonnie.
Q-Tessa calls Damon and tells him that since she's momentarily occupied, she needs him to kill Silas for her. Damon would love nothing better, but tells Tessa that the control freak wants to kill himself. Tessa wants it done now. When Damon is less than willing, Tess reveals that she used Elena's jealousy (of Stefan) to lure her to the cabin. She puts the whammy on Elena, who screams in pain. Stefan goes to Elena's aid and yells at Tessa to stop it. Damon can hear Elena's cries, so he tries to reason with Tessa that he needs Silas to do something, before he can kill him. Q doubts that something is more important to Damon than Elena herself, and explains how Elena is trapped in Q's cabin thanks to Silas's spell. Now, that's all true, and it's half Silas's fault that Elena is there. He made Damon confess about breaking Stefan's neck, I think in hopes that Elena would go find Q and Stefan. Since Silas wants Damon's help opposing Q, why would he ever send Q such powerful leverage? Whatever. Q says that Damon has until sundown to kill Silas, or she will kill Elena. "With a face like Amara's, it might be cathartic. Bye now!" Crowbar in hand, Damon starts smashing open crates while we go to commercial. I originally worded that "smashing into crates" and now, even though it didn't happen, I have this image of a nearly robotic Damon bumping into one crate, bouncing off of it, and bumping into another, and it's making me silly.
