I hope you're ready for the shocking twist ending. Except not shocking at all at this point, since we know what happens. Anyway, Felicity calls Ben, who is sleeping when he answers the phone. Felicity asks whether he still wants to share a cab to the airport. Ben says that he's not going home for the break, and he's just going to hang out. Felicity looks disappointed, and after a long pause, says she'll see him when she gets back. Ben tells her to have fun, and hangs up.
Sally voice-overs that she has become a big believer in not defining every single thing, because it seems like every time you figure something out, it becomes something else. Ben hangs up the phone and snuggles back down into bed -- next to Julie! Okay, but it was really shocking on first viewing. I totally didn't see it coming. Felicity carries her suitcases down the hall as Sally voice-overs that her first Christmas home from college was strange, because she was so excited to go home, but then when she got to her parents' house, she felt homesick. Man, there is nothing more obnoxious than a college freshman home on break for the first time. I remember when my older brother came home for the first time, and he was so mean, and I asked my mom what his deal was, and she just told me to ignore him, because all college freshmen are like that. And three years later, I acted exactly the same way. Felicity gets into the elevator as Sally voice-overs that she hopes everything works out for Felicity and Knoll, and she wishes them both a Merry Christmas. Aw.
