Past of Muted Tones. Nadia busts into Roberto's office. He just looks at her. She tells him Diego's dead and then says she read the disk. "How could you do this?" she asks. Roberto's all, Nadia… Nadia's all, BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG. Seriously. She empties a clip into the guy. Yow. Back in the present, Nadia tries to explain to Cesar that everything Roberto told them was a lie. He told them they were working for the good of the country, but they totally weren't. Cesar doesn't give a damn. They were living on the street before Roberto hooked them up. Nadia's all, dude! HE WAS A CRIMINAL. He was an assassin. He made us traitors! Cesar's all, don't care. If it weren't for him, we'd be rotting in that prison. Or dead. "He saved us and you killed him," Cesar says. "And I'd do it again," spits Nadia. Cesar points his gun at her…and then they fight.

Cesar gets her in a chokehold as Syd and Weiss pull up outside. More fighting, kicking, punching. Somehow, Nadia gets the upper hand. Oh, and she gets the gun. So that helps with the upper hand part. Just then, Syd and Weiss burst in and call out for her. Nadia brings Cesar out with her and says she's fine and that the amp glass is in the safe inside the office. Weiss takes Cesar off and Syd moves toward her sister. There's a beat, and then Syd just folds Nadia into her arms. It's a really nice moment between the two of them.

Lisbon. Vaughn walks through a really beautiful garden and approaches a door. He knocks, obviously expecting his father to answer. Instead, it's…Sonia Braga? Man, I honestly didn't see that one coming. Later, they're sitting at the table in the garden and Sonia's telling him the first time she ever laid eyes on Bill Vaughn, he was covered in blood and carrying a baby in his arms. "Nadia," surmises Vaughn. Sonia nods and continues telling her story, saying that Bill brought Nadia to the orphanage and said she was in danger and he'd been shot in the shoulder. Daddy Vaughn stayed for a few days and then, one morning, when she woke up, he was gone. Vaughn's confused, though. If Bill knew Sonia back in Buenos Aires, why on earth would he encode the Lisbon address in his journal? Sonia has no idea, and quickly surmises that Vaughn expected his father to be there. She apologizes and wishes she knew more.

Vaughn asks if she can remember anything, anything at all. Something he said, maybe? A detail? Sonia racks her brain, but all she can pretend to remember is the word "Nightingale." Vaughn's all, huh? Sonia's all, he was on the phone and…something in his voice…it was important to him. This "Nightingale" or whatever. Vaughn's all, yeah. Thanks for that. That's real…informative. There's a pause, and Sonia asks Vaughn if she can ask him a question. He's like, sure. Shoot. "Nadia -- how is she?" "She's good," says Vaughn. Sonia then kind of looks off to the side and back at Vaughn, and…scene. I know. Scene. The end. The what? I have no idea what Sonia's up to, but you can damn well be sure it ain't no good.
