“ Emily doesn't understand what Piggy is talking about, and concludes that Piggy is a weirdo. Of course, that's Piggy's cue to walk into the room. ”
Piggy and Jisela play Scrabble in their villa. In an interview, Jisela explains that she asked Piggy what went on during the Inner Circle, because Jisela heard that Timmy and Emily had no say, and that the Wicks monopolized the decision. Well, from what we saw, that's pretty much what happened. Although Piggy got her opinion in there as well. Jisela tells Piggy that she heard that Tim felt forced to vote the way he did. In an interview, Jisela says that Piggy said that Timmy and Emily had an alliance with the rest of them. We see Piggy say, "It would make sense for them to make some kind of deal." I'm already suspecting Jisela's version of events, because otherwise, why are they having Jisela tell us what happened in an interview instead of just showing us the conversation? It makes me think that the editors liked Jisela's version better than what actually occurred, and thus edited the scene to fit her story.
In an interview, Josh says that Jisela got upset because Piggy was talking about the top three teams (Chadwick and Piggy, Theo and Hollywick, and Timmy and Emily) having an alliance where they decided always to try to keep those three teams in the top three. How would that work, exactly? I guess they could promise not to vote each other off if one team doesn't make the Inner Circle, but it's still a vote. Let's say the Inner Circle was Theo and Hollywick, Josh and Holly Not Wick, and Dan and Tara. If all of the others decided to ditch Chadwick and Piggy, the alliance doesn't do them much good. Anyway.
Emily talks to Belounatic, Tara, Holly Not Wick, and Jisela. She says that blackmail is probably too strong a word, but that she feels forced to vote a certain way by The Wicks and their partners. In an interview, Emily says that she and Tim were approached by the other Inner Circle teams and asked to team up with them against the other teams. Emily concludes that she and Tim feel that if they don't agree, they will be the voted off. Emily tells the other women that it seems to take being evil and malicious to win. Emily doesn't understand what Piggy is talking about, and concludes that Piggy is a weirdo. Of course, that's Piggy's cue to walk into the room. Piggy voice-overs that Emily is "completely snake-like." Piggy leans against the doorway and asks what is being discussed. Emily explains that the Wicks came up with the alliance idea and she had no choice. Everyone starts talking at once. Piggy accuses Emily of "backtracking" and "manipulat[ing] the truth." Emily says that she's been very open with the other women. In an interview, Jisela wonders who is lying.
Outside, Piggy tells Chadwick that Emily is "lying right through her fucking teeth." Piggy explains that Emily is making it out like she is totally innocent, and just wants to be friends with everyone, but the Wicks approached her about an alliance and she meekly agreed. Chadwick suggests getting everyone together and hashing this out. Piggy agrees and they head inside. Aw, yeah. I love confrontation.
