Anyway.
So the bushes rustle, and Boone says, "Vincent?" a bunch of times, but as it becomes clear that it's not a dog, Locke pulls his knife. And what to their wondering eyes does appear, but Claire! She stumbles out of the bushes, looking filthy and disoriented, not unlike a first-year college student after Frosh Week. It's too dark for me to conclusively tell whether Claire is indeed no longer pregnant, as some viewers are asserting, but isn't that the kind of thing the show would have made clear, so as to make this plot twist all the more, um, twisty? Or maybe they left it deliberately vague because they haven't yet decided where the story's going to go, since there aren't any new episodes, judging by the reaction on the boards, for the next four years.
