FVO continues, "So, Sally, here's where it gets weird. You know how I told you Meghan does spells?" Felicity walks out into the kitchen and finds Meghan combining a bunch of stuff into a pot on the stove. Meghan says that she's putting a hex on Ben, because she can do much more powerful spells now that she got "this new kick-ass book." Felicity reads the title, Mystical Incantations Part Two. Meghan says it's so mystical that there isn't even a part one, and that it just came out. Also, the author, Korsakoff, is a genius. Felicity asks what the spell will do to Ben. Meghan says that it's a tripping spell, but she can't decide whether she wants Ben to trip down a flight of stairs or over a curb. Felicity says, "I guess I don't really want him to trip down a flight of stairs." Meghan replies, "Curb it is." Meghan stops and asks Felicity if she's sure that she's not going to get back together with Ben. Felicity says she's sure. Meghan asks, "Even when he comes here groveling for forgiveness." Felicity says, "We are finished." Meghan asks Felicity if she's an Aries, and Felicity says that she's a Scorpio. Meghan thinks that's even better, and she reaches over and plucks some hair from Felicity's head. Ouch! Felicity agrees with my assessment of the situation. Meghan puts the hair into her potion and then says that Ben just tripped.
FVO says that the night before Noel's wedding, they all got together to celebrate, and "it was excruciating." Felicity, Sean, Meghan, Richard, Javier, Noel, and Zoe sit around a table in a restaurant. Wouldn't Noel's and Zoe's families be there? Richard stands up to give a toast. Richard says that Noel is giving up the single life and leaving Richard on his own. He loves Noel so much. Richard starts crying, and everyone looks ill at ease. Richard tries to gather himself together, and Javier asks if anyone else is uncomfortable. Yes! I am! Me! Right here! Richard continues, "I guess I just never thought the day would come. I always thought that Noel would carry around his torch for Felicity forever." Yikes. This is like the wedding I went to where the best man gave a toast and said that he hoped all of the couple's ups and downs would be between the sheets. Inappropriate. Meghan groans. Richard says that Zoe already knows everything. Wrap it up, Richard. He finally concludes, "So I guess I should just let Phil Collins do the talking. Because you two? You got a groovy kind of love." Everyone laughs and toasts.
Sean stands up to give a toast, but instead of hearing what he says, FVO says, "Okay, Sally. I haven't been to many of these dinners in my life, but I know that there's probably one rule that applies to all of them: Unless you're the bride, you shouldn't covet the groom. I think that night, I was definitely breaking that rule." Felicity stares at Noel, and Zoe. Noel looks at her and smiles. Felicity clinks glasses with those around her. Sean says that it's Felicity's turn. She stands and says nervously that she's happy for both of them. She tells Zoe that she's so lucky to have found a great guy like Noel, and tells Noel that he's lucky to have found Zoe. She concludes, "You're just both, just so...." Richard supplies, "Lucky?" Felicity agrees and quickly wishes them both all of the happiness in the world. They all toast.
